Great app. tnx
Great app. tnx
Well executed app, a mathies delight!
Totally Awesome !!! Thank you for all your time and effort in putting this together, very very much appreciated.
My kids would love spheres and cones so they can play with circles, ellipses, parabolas, etc.
The title above says it all. This is a great reference for math students and enthusiasts alike. For the guy who gave it one star because he did not fancy the background, I say "get a life buddy!" The value of the app is well established in its design and info richness. The bells and whistles are non-essential and should not carry an 80% weight (4 out of the 5 stars). Besides, I think it is a cheap approach to get what you want by a "blackmail" evaluation.
One of the best tools for aspiring mathematicians or artists who have no idea how to draw gemstones (such as myself)! One suggestion, give us some round shapes like cones or spheres! That would be even more awesome.
This app is awesome for my Geometry students when studying 3D shapes. Would you consider adding Cylindrical Solids and making it so the shapes can open up into their nets? The nets would really help students in their understanding of how the Surface Area of the solids is determined. Thanks for such a great tool!
I love spinning the shapes. Its neat to snap back to xyz view, too. I like seeing all the shapes on the front page next to their names. Great for explaining them to anyone not familiar with old shapes lingo.
This is a great app. I accidentally triple tapped in slightly different places on one plane and that plane was highlighted even when moved. Wow!
This app helps me understand the Platonic solids and the underlying geometry better than any other animation or presentation. Much of Sacred Geometry is based on these. One improvement, besides a little color customization, would be to have a Wikipedia or info link for each of the figures reachable from right in the app.
great work! easy to use. could not rate the app from the app itself ?? next version maybe add an info button.
Very well done. Thanks so much.
I am only using it recreationally. What I love about it is its ability to help shift the mind from 2-D to 3-D and back again. This could be extrapolated to so many aspects of life.
Some of the most common solids do not appear in this app like a rectangular prism, cylinder, and cone. The app is very user friendly but it would be even better if these few things were added
This app is not great at all. It has no instructions and its just really bad....
When it comes to shapes anytime you should have this app definitely. Awesome job developers.
A great way to visualize geometric shapes. I like the fact you can create a cutting plane, then adjust the planes position and orientation within the 3D shape before actually making the cut. I would agree with a previous review that more shapes would be nice (cones, cylinders, sphere and the like). Also, it would be nice to have some sort of transparent coloring for the faces (that can be turned on and off) to help differentiate faces closer to the eyepoint and those on the backside of the object.
This is just a wire form model of many geometric shapes. It doesnt do much but it does it very well. If you are teaching or learning geometry this is a beneficial app. And if your not its still interesting. I think it can be helpful to anybody working with math, as a visual aid it excels.
